As far as the work is going for Elder Butterfield and I, we are rebuilding. Much like above, things have disintegrated so we have had to put the pieces back together and begin again. We thankfully have found some very good people to begin teaching. We are teaching a couple families that are quite promising. We have decided that the best thing to do right now is pray for families to teach and just focus on family areas. Because of this we have been seeing much more success.
Halloween was pretty uneventful. We were in London all day for MLC. I quite enjoyed that meeting. The room was decked out with Halloween decorations and Sister Jordan made us bat sugar cookies so that was great. The drive back wasn't too bad either. There wasn't much traffic so we didn't have to wait around too much.
Once we were back from MLC we had to go right to work preparing for zone meeting the next day so we hit McDonald's and wen't to the chapel to prepare some trainings. We had a good zone meeting and got everyone sorted out and back on board to work hard and make things happen this month. I guess time will tell the results. We are praying that things will pick up this month.
That is pretty much all the excitement for the week. We have interviews with President Jordan tomorrow here in Colchester so I am looking forward to that. Then we have an exchange with the Assistants so I'll probably get to be with Elder Torres again so that will be great. Other than that it will be a usual week. Guy Fox day is this week so we'll be having a ward party at the Bishop's house so that will be a good opportunity to mingle with the members and campaign for some member referrals. We'll see how that goes. Thanks everyone for your love and emails. I look forward to hearing from you all again next week. I love you all!
Love,
Elder Dalton
P.S. I just remembered to mention that it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas here. Since they don't celebrate thanksgiving (I don't know why not) the Christmas season starts November first. All the stores are stocking up on Christmas stuff. Strange right?
