The General Epistle of Samuel (summer!)

Well hello again!

This week was pretty good. We enjoyed quite a bit of sunshine this week and I actually got sunburnt. The first time in a year! The vitamin D felt good. This week was filled full of teaching appointments and lots of studying. Elder Torres is studying for his theory test to get his license so we have had to spend a lot of time at the chapel so he can take practice tests. It's probably the most exciting thing ever...

We are hitting the midway point of the transfer and about to close out the month of June so we are being extra inspirational. Giving missionaries speeches about how we serve the same God that parted the red sea and what not. The Zone is doing well. We are working hard towards a goal of 11 baptisms for the month of June and we are close to hitting it. The missionaries here are working hard

So a while back I shared about how we went to a BBQ at the home of our investigator Caren's family. When we were at the BBQ we told the family that we would send the missionaries in the area to see them. They promised they would let them in and hear their message. Yesterday Elder Torres and I had the opportunity to interview the family for baptism! It is a mother and four daughters and they are all very prepared. I was great to see them progressing in the gospel and how it has unified their family.

This week is going to be crazy. We will be teaching lots of people, we will have MLC in London, Zone Training Meeting, and my year mark tradition of burning a white shirt (not mine though... we found one in the flat haha) we will hopefully have a video to send :) On top of all that the car has been rescheduled to go into the shop on the 27th so we will be without a car for the two weeks after this. It's time to put on the walking shoes. Well that's about it. It was great hearing from all of you. I look forward to hearing from you again!!! I love you all!

Love,
Elder Dalton
