The General Epistle of Samuel (Low Key)

Hello everyone!
So there isn't a whole lot for me to talk about this week. I was mainly just work work work and enjoying the sunshine. As well we have been enjoying having the Bas Mobile back in our possession. July 11th was my one year mark in the field so that was a notable event of the week.
We are working hard to get the people we are teaching on date. Caren recently returned from Dominica so we have gotten back on track with her. She is still facing a lot of opposition from her family. They tried to take her Book of Mormon from her and destroy it but she wouldn't let them. She is now back in the UK with her daughter and we are making plans to start teaching Caren's husband and daughter. We are also working with Dave and his wife Jo. They are progressing nicely towards baptism so that should hopefully be coming up in the near future. Other than that we are spending our time finding.
It was the World Cup Sunday and we were given permission to watch it on Monday. Kinda a boring match. No one scored until extra time. I'm curious to know if there was much coverage on it in the US? Monday was also moves calls day so many missionaries waited by their phone in anticipation of a call from our mission president. Thankfully Elder Torres and myself will be staying another transfer together here in Basildon. We are very excited for the next six weeks. Our zone has three missionaries training so we will have some very new blood coming in which means lots of greeny faith. You all can expect to hear about some miracles in the future.
Well that is pretty much my week this last week. We are expecting some very warm weather this coming week which means we should be extra productive because everyone will be outside. I hope all is well with everyone where ever they may be. Thank you all for your love and support and I look forward to hearing from you next week! Love you all!

Love,
Elder Dalton
