Hello!
Well it's that time of week again. When you all get to hear from me! This week has gone quite well. We were able to reach our goal of two new investigators! We are very happy about that. As well, one of them now has a baptismal date for the 22nd of February so we will be working hard to get her to make that date. Other than that it has been a very rainy week. We have been a bit spoiled here in Ipswich since our weather has been more spring like rather than winterish. I'm not complaining though. The work has been very productive though which I'm happy about.
I have been asked by a few if this week is transfers and when transfers are. This week is the last week of the transfer so we will be getting our moves calls next monday. That means P-day next week is on tuesday so don't freak out if I haven't emailed on monday. My right leg has been hurting just right so I think I'll be staying here in Ipswich. You will all know when I know so no worries :)
So I don't have much else to write about this week so I'll share what I studied this morning in my personal studies. As of late I have been studying the New Testament chapter by chapter and have just made it to Matthew 13. In this chapter Christ is teaching with parables and I focused todays study on the first one that occures which is the parable of the sower. This is a wonderful parable and a great "spiritual measuring stick." The parable talks about the different types of soil (people) that the seeds (the gospel) land on. Each type of soil is, in one way or another, not hospitable to the seed. All except the final soil, the "good ground." This parable is a great spiritual measuring stick because we can compare the types of soils to ourselves and determine how welcoming we are to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Obviously we all must work towards become the "good ground" and allow the gospel to take root in our lives and bring forth the blessings that are promised to us. I know that as we apply the principles of the gospel we will be blessed in abundance. I love all of you and hope you have a fantastic week!
