It's that time again. Transfer week!
Before I get to the news that you are actually waiting for I'll recap my week for you. This week was probably our best week this transfer work wise. We were able to teach a total of 27 lessons. The record for our companionship. We were very pleased about it. Even more exciting is some new investigators we have found to teach. One woman we found on wednesday that we are particularly excited to start teaching. We were tracting in Kesgrave and ran across this family of like six kids. When the mother opened the door she asked if we could come back later after we told her we were doing a survey about families. We agreed to come back at seven. So after a dinner appointment we returned as we said. Her husband wasn't home yet so after explaining who we were and what we were doing we scheduled for another day to meet and asked if she knew anyone that would be interested to meet with us. She directed us to her friends house just around the corner. We thanked her and went on our way. We came to her friends house knocked on the door and she answered. We told her how we found her and she was a bit surprised that her friend would send us to her. We again explained who we were and what we do and she was very excited to hear our message. She told us how she has a strong faith in God and Jesus Christ but is confused by how many churches there are and wants to know which one is true. Sound familiar? We set an appointment to meet with her this coming week and we are very excited to meet with her. It was a big testament to me that the Lord truely does prepare people to hear the restored gospel.
The rest of the week was mostly running around from lesson to lesson and finding people to teach in town. The weather hasn't been too bad which I was happy about as well. It has been strange to make it all the way to February and not have any snow. It's kinda nice haha. Yesterday was the longest of the week. I hate transfer call days because it is so hard to keep your mind off of the phone haha. We spent the day trying to keep our minds occupied. Eventually we received a phone call from president. Elder Martinez is moving to Gillingham and his new companion is an American that grew up in Mexico whos name is Elder Romney. He is very excited to leave Ipswich. He has been here six months and it has been his only area. As for me, I am staying. I don't know who my new companion is yet because, I am training. I'll be going to London tomorrow for the day and will find out then. I am excited to corrupt I mean train a new missionary. I am looking forward to this next transfer. Well I hope everyones week this week goes well. I love you all and look forward to hearing from you again.
