Happy Boxing day everyone!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas full of great food, good laughs, and maybe a few tears because of my absence. I thoroughly enjoyed my Christmas eve and Christmas day. It was full of great food, good laughs, and disney movies! I was privelaged to celebrate a Portuguese Christmas which isn't too different just the food, and not even that was strange. I guess realy the only foreign thing was the language haha. 90% of the time at dinner I had no idea what was being said. Mostly arguing about football and which player is better. Anyways the day was great. The ward had a Christmas service at ten in the morning so that was nice to go to church on Christmas. It consisted of singing a lot of carols. Afterward was when we went to the Pereiras to spend the day playing guitar, watching disney movies and eating a ton of food. Later that night we went to Steve's (the recent convert) to spend some time with him. He was happy to see us and some of his friends from the ward came as well so that was nice to see them supporting him.
Well as I said at the begining, today is Boxing Day (comparable to black friday). It is our P-day so we have some activities planned. We are going to be at the Donkers (ward mission leader) for a while to have lunch and probably watch a movie. Later we will go "shopping" and pretty much just walk around and wait for our moves call. Tonight we will be having a nerf gun fight at the chapel with the youth and anyone else that wants to come so that will be fun.
I'm sure you are all waiting to hear if I will be moving or staying. Well I'll be staying in Ipswich for another transfer. Elder Martinez will also stay my companion this transfer. Looks like he will be spending the full six months in an area. This transfer looks promising. We hope to have a baptism before it's over. Well thanks again for all the mail and love. I hope you all have a wonderful new years and a great week!
