Hello everyone!!!
Another week is done here in Ipswich. It was full of fun and below freezing temperatures. We had the wonderful opportunity to go to interviews with President Jordan. He was able to givbe me a lot of insights on how to be the best example possible for my companion. I was also able to chat with Sister Jordan and gleened a bit of information from her about when our mission will get Ipads. She said the unofficial word was that our mission would be getting them in the last quarter of next year so about a year from now. Just in time for me to use one for six months and then come home haha. It is an exciting time to be a missionary though. The hastening of the work is amazing and the Ipswich ward has realy caught the wave.
There isn't a whole lot of new things going on here. The most exciting news is about our progressing investigator named Steve. He committed to be baptised on December 14th so we are very excited for him. He is a great guy and the gospel came into his life just in time. The next issue we face now is finding new people to teach. I intend to kick finding into another gear one: so we have someone new to teach, two: so I can teach my companion it's possible, and three: just to work his but off :) It feels great to come back to the flat knowing that you did all you could that day for the Lord.
I have found out that I will be here through Christmas. Transfer calls will be the morning of boxing day (dec. 26) and moves will be the following day. The 26th will be P-day so we get a nice long holliday :) I expect pleanty of preasants under my cardboard cut out Christmas tree ;) I love all you guys and look forward to your thanksgiving pictures. Try not to call the Elders that come to dinner "Elder Dalton" haha
